Dennis Miller, who gained famed appearing in the Weekend Update segments on “Saturday Night Live,” will speak at The University of Texas at Tyler’s Cowan Center at 7 p.m. Thursday. 

Miller, a television personality who shares his opinions on many topics, is being presented as part of the center’s Distinguished Lecture Series. 

Miller has hosted his own talk show and written best-selling books filled with his often humorous rants about life.
