From across the pond comes this hilarious mockumentary series that follows the day-to-day existence of two young people living in a small English village and the social awkwardness, boredom and oddities of rural life that result. Siblings Daisy May Cooper and Charlie Cooper wrote and star in the series.

The fourth season of this action series about the crew of a U.S. destroyer and their efforts to find a cure for a pandemic that wiped out most of the world’s population comes to the streaming service. Eric Dane, Adam Baldwin and Bridget Regan star.

“Find Me In Paris”

This German/French family series stars Jessica Lord (“The Next Step”) as a young ballet dancer who struggles to fit in her new surroundings after being transported from 1905 to the 21st century. Christy O’Donnell, Hannah Dodd and Eubha Akilade also star.

”Jiro Dreams of Sushi” (Aug. 23) Filmmaker David Gelb’s (”Chef ‘s Table”) well-regarded 2011 documentary focuses on 85-year-old sushi master Jiro Ono, his relationship with his son and eventual heir Yoshikazu, and his success as a Tokyo restaurateur.

“Crime & Punishment” (Aug. 24) An award-winner at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, this documentary from director Stephen Maing goes behind the scenes of the New York Police Department to expose its many problems and questionable practices.

“Mother!” (Aug. 26) From ”Black Swan” director Darren Aronofsky comes this 2017 horror movie that stars Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem as a couple whose tranquil lives are upended by the arrival of uninvited houseguests. Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer also star.

“The First” (Sept. 14) Beau Willimon (”House of Cards”) is the creator force behind this sci-fi/drama series about the first manned mission to Mars. Sean Penn, Natascha McElhone, LisaGay Hamilton and Melissa George lead a solid cast. (ORIGINAL SERIES)
