“Mission: Impossible – Fallout” is the sixth entry in the franchise, which began back in 1995. The “Mission: Impossible” franchise is fairly unique for a film series, as each sequel (specifically starting with part 4, “Ghost Protocol”), manages to top each previous entry.
“Fallout” is no different as this is legitimately the best “Mission: Impossible” since, well, the last one.

The film was written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, a fantastic scribe turned director, best known for his Oscar–winning screenplay for “The Usual Suspects.” For a decade, McQuarrie and Cruise have teamed for several projects, including “Jack Reacher” and “Rogue Nation.”
Impossible Mission Force (IMF) Agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is back and has chosen to accept another impossible mission…and one that could absolutely cost him everything. Hunt and his team, Luther (Ving Rhames) and Benji (Simon Pegg) head to Berlin to capture stolen plutonium cores from an organization known as The Apostles, which is a reformation of terrorist organization, The Syndicate.
The team is trapped in a gunfight and Hunt chooses the lives of his teammates over the plutonium. This forces IMF Secretary Hunley (Alec Baldwin) to not only send Hunt back out into the field to recover the
plutonium, but also accept CIA Director Sloane (Angela Bassett) sending one of her agents, assassin August Walker (Henry Cavill) along for the ride.
Walker and Hunt naturally don’t trust each other, but they have no choice to work together. However, the mission becomes even more complicated when former MI6 agent Isla Faust (Rebecca Ferguson) shows up, along with ghosts of Ethan’s past.

“Fallout” is a wildly intense, incredibly fun movie that is easily one of the best films of the year.
Seriously. This film is smart, edge-of-your seat entertainment that puts as much time into story and performances as it does into the nail-biting stunts and set pieces that make up the film.
Whether you’re a fan of this series or you’ve never seen any of these films, I still believe you are in for an incredibly fun ride with this film. The possibility of getting to see another one of these is up to both the box office and Cruise. If it ends here, it ends on an incredibly high note.
If we get another, I cannot wait to see how they try to top this one.
