Linda Miller, 69, of Whitehouse, TX passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler after a hard-fought battle with Glioblastoma cancer. A memorial service honoring Linda’s life will take place on Thursday, July 26th at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Whitehouse.
Linda was born February 23, 1949 in Palestine, Texas to parents Mr. & Mrs. Bennie R. & Georgie E. Middleton, Sr. of Palestine. She graduated from Palestine High School in 1967 and earned an Associate degree in Science in 1995. Linda lived in Whitehouse for 5 years and owned her own business for over 15 years. She and her husband of 13 years, Danny Miller, were married January 23, 2006. Linda spent much of her time taking care of the family and friends she loved. To all who knew her, Linda will be long-remembered as one of the kindest and hardest working women anyone could ever know.

Linda was pre-deceased by her father and mother Bennie R. and Georgie E. Middleton, Sr. (Palestine). She is survived by her husband Danny Miller (Whitehouse); daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Frank Austin (Bullard); son Philip Johnson (Whitehouse); daughter Laura Duesterhaus (Lubbock) with whom she reconnected with 2016; grandchildren: Colton and Connor Mebane (Bullard); Maegan, Blake and Jack Johnson (Whitehouse); Jaren Speck and wife Sarah (Burleson); and Kolin Duesterhaus (Lubbock); and 5 great grandchildren. Linda is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Bennie Middleton, Jr. and wife Charlotte (Palestine), and sister Regina Rogers (Wimberley), along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
