AAU VOLLEYBALL | NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS

- TWO TYLER-AREA CLUB VOLLEYBALL TEAMS from ETA1 recently competed in AAU national tournaments, both placing fifth in their respective events against teams throughout the nation, Puerto Rico and Colombia in Orlando, Fla. The teams competed in the 45th AAU Girls' and Boys' Junior National Volleyball Championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World. The ETA1 15 Black squad finished fifth out of 171 teams with an 11-1 record. The ETA1 17 Black team finished fifth out of 84 teams with a 10-1 record. Shelbi Steen and Briana Brown were named to the All-Tournament Team.
