Celebration Singers of Holly Brook Baptist to perform Sunday

Celebration Singers of Holly Brook Baptist Church, 3219 S. Farm-to-Market Road 2869, Hawkins, invites listeners to “Turn Your Radio On” at a concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at the church. The choir will sing hymns from the 1930s, ’40s and ’50s. A watermelon feast will follow. The concert is the second in a series of three called “Super Summer Second Sunday Singing.” On Aug. 12, Swearingens & Matthews will lead worship with music from southern gospel to contemporary. 21ST ANNUAL EAST TEXAS BAPTIST CAMPMEETING
Dr. Robert Jeffress, senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas is among speakers scheduled to preach, July 16-20 at the 21st annual East Texas Baptist Campmeeting at the Canton Civic Center. This Campmeeting Revival is free and open to the public.
Services begin at 7 p.m. Jeffress is pastor of one of the largest churches in America and is often seen on the Fox News Channel as he presents his opinion on various cultural issues as they relate to the Bible.
