Funeral Services for Lloyd Motes, age 55, of Emory will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Robert Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Emory City Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Motes passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in Emory, TX.

Lloyd was born on August 5, 1962 in Roswell, NM, the son of William and Jacquline Motes. He was a welder and of the baptist faith.

He is survived by his children, Ashley McDermott, Theresa and husband, Saul, Ryan William Motes; grandchildren, Gage and Alexis McDermott, Nate and Karissa Bernal; brothers, Richard Motes, Ron Motes, and Bill Gage; sister, Elizabeth Shoemaker.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents.
