Grace Community School stages ‘Cotton Patch Gospel’

Grace Community School is staging “Cotton Patch Gospel,” a musical that tells the story of Jesus. The play is set in  rural Georgia in the 1950s and 1960s.

It is based on the book “The Cotton Patch Version of Matthew and John” by Clarence Jordan.

The musical features songs by Harry Chapin. 

Performances are set for 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 1 and 7 p.m. Saturdayat the high school, 3025 University Blvd. Tickets cost $8.
