LUFKIN — The Robert E. Lee Lady Raiders scored wins over Houston Lamar and Lufkin to finish 3-0 in the Lufkin Soccer Tournament.

Earning all-tournament from Lee were Kourtney Hitchcock, Karla Bustos and Meghan Romines.

On Friday, REL defeated Houston Lamar 9-0. Maddie Bice led the way with a hat trick. Others scoring goals were Lexie Thedford (2), Ariel Heckier, Hitchcock, Irasel Pacheco and Haley Bogenschutz.

Assists were from Bustos (3), Hitchcock (3) and Pacheco. Two goals were unassisted.

On Saturday, REL defeated Lufkin 6-2. Hitchcock, Bice and Pacheco each scored two goals. Assists were from Kailey Minehart (2), Deana Zarcone (2) and Thedford.

The Lady Raiders are scheduled to play in Longview next week — Grapevine (5 p.m. Thursday), Lufkin (3 p.m. Friday) and Red Oak (9 a.m. Saturday).
