2 Tyler men charged with capital murder

Tyler police served two arrest warrants on men who are suspected of killing a 25-year-old Tyler man and shooting two others in November.
Seydadrian Montrez Brown, 26, of Tyler, and Christopher Benard Hardy, 23, of Tyler, were already incarcerated in Gregg and Smith County jails, respectively, when the police served the warrants, according to a Tyler Police Department news release.

Brown was booked into the Gregg County Jail on Nov. 30 on a U.S. Marshal detainer. Hardy was booked into Smith County Jail on Dec. 2.
They are being charged with capital murder related to a Nov. 13 incident that police said was connected to narcotic activity.
The incident occurred at 8:31 p.m. in the Chelsea Creek Apartments at 4920 Thistle Drive. Bonds were set at $1 million.
The case remains an open investigation, according to the news release.
