Tyler Junior College will offer a showcase of its Wellness and Exercise Science degree program from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the fitness and testing lab, 1200 E. Fifth St, Robert M. Rogers Nursing & Health Sciences Center on the TJC main campus.

Attendees will have an opportunity to visit with TJC faculty and program graduates, as well as internship site representatives: Bobby Stroupe from APEC, Greg Maschal from ETMC Olympic Center and Kelly Hitchcock from KH Fitness.

The overall employment outlook for personal trainers and group instructors is projected to increase 25 percent in Texas and 13 percent nationwide. Salaries range from $33,000 to $66,000 annually.
