Tyler, Palestine churches present 111 quilts to The Salvation Army for Angel Tree program

Twenty-five quilters from First Baptist Church of Tyler and Southside Baptist of Palestine made 111 quilts for The Salvation Army of Tyler’s Angel Tree this Christmas season.

The quilts, which were made throughout the year, were presented to The Salvation Army on Tuesday night for distribution to children involved in the Angel Tree program. Each quilt represents an average of 12 hours of loving work.
