Full descriptions of the vehicles and pictures can be found at www.auctioneerexpress.com. The city’s logo and listings can be seen in the center of the home page. The website is similar to eBay, with registered users setting maximum and minimum bids. All auction items are sold as is. There are no warranties or returns.
By state law, the city has three main ways to get rid of unwanted items. It can either donate items to another government entity, to a nonprofit agency within the county or sell them in an auction. If the item doesn’t sell, they can be donated or thrown away.
Bidding ends at 11 a.m. Nov. 10, according to the auction website.
The website staggers the closing times in intervals of two minutes.

Payment must be made within three days of the auction’s close. Bidders may inspect the vehicles prior to bidding by appointment only. Those inspections can only be done during business hours, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Contact Cpt. Jeff Bragg at 903-894-7788 to schedule an inspection.
After payment, all items must be picked up within five business days. A $30 per day fee may be applied if the item is not picked up. If the purchaser waits longer than 10 days to get the merchandise, the property will revert back to the city.
