The board for Smith County Emergency Services District No. 2 has certified two unopposed commissioners elected for a second term.

District 1 Commissioner Paul Perryman and District 4 Commissioner Randy Melton were certified as unopposed candidates and the board canceled the Nov. 8 election. They will each serve a four-year term.
