The 31st Annual St. Gregory Fun Run took place Saturday next to the Bishop Gorman school football field.

A reunion of St. Gregory Cathedral School and Bishop Gorman school, the Fun Run is a 5K, 1 mile and kid’s dash that helps promote family fun, health and fitness and raises funds for St. Gregory.

In addition to the run, the event included an optional “water balloon lane,” where spectators were invited to “award” the participating finishers with a refreshing water balloon splash. The run culminated with awards, carnival games and food.

The top 100 5K finishers received a commemorative mug, with cash prizes awarded to top male and female 5K finishers, master finishers and age division winners. All 1 mile finishers received medals and all dash finishers received ribbons.
