Anderson was first arrested after her boyfriend, 58-year-old John Wayne Pierce, died from a gunshot wound.
On Dec. 14, Anderson went to the Game Room on Texas Highway 31 in Tyler. According to the arrest warrant, Pierce showed up soon after, upset about her being at the business, and the two started arguing.
The couple exited the building and continued arguing in the parking lot.
Anderson claims Pierce struck her in the face, and according to the warrant, said that she would shoot him if he hit her again. Anderson said Pierce hit her again, so she shot him once in the left side of his torso.
Pierce ran a short distance from Anderson before collapsing. He was taken a local hospital and pronounced dead.
The warrant states no obvious injuries were apparent on Anderson, and she did not complain about being hurt or request EMS at the scene.
