Bishop T.K. Gorman Class of 2016 recognized for high AP exam passing rate

Students of the Bishop T.K. Gorman class of 2016 have been recognized for their hard work and success in advanced placement classes.
The class graduated with a 74 percent AP passing average, meaning 74 percent of the students of the class of 2016 passed at least one AP exam, according to a news release from the school.
The class also saw 20 students graduate as AP Scholars or AP Scholars with Honors. The national AP passing average is 20.1 percent and 18.5 percent in Texas.
