Pro-life worker to speak on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday
Beverly Kline, founding director of Living Alternatives, is scheduled to speak on Sunday at Community Christian Fellowship, 15704 Texas Highway 110 North, in Lindale as part of the Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.

Ms. Kline has been instrumental in training 70 Christian anti-abortion ministries in 25 states and seven other countries. She is scheduled to speak at the 8:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. services and answer questions at 9:45 a.m.
Living Alternatives is a local nonprofit organization with programs, including a maternity home, pregnancy resource center, a licensed adoption agency, a discipleship ministry for new mothers, a ministry for children in foster care as well as an outreach ministry to teenage girls in foster care.
Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is a day when churches nationwide choose to celebrate God’s gift of life and commit themselves to protecting human life at every stage, according to the Life Matters Worldwide website. Male Chorus Musical set for Satuday
Shady Grove Baptist Church, 12480 Farm-to-Market Road 14, in Tyler invites the public to its 38th Male Chorus Anniversary thisweekend.

The Male Chorus Musical is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Saturday, and the Anniversary Service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. M.K. Mast and the Greater St. Mary Baptist Church will be the special guests.
Christian authors to present latest book
Bestselling Christian fiction authors Tracie Peterson and Kimberley Woodhouse will present their newest novel, “Beyond the Silence,” at the Palestine Public Library, 2000 South Loop 256, Suite 42, at 11 a.m. Thursday.
The event will feature a book talk and book signing, all of which is free and open to the public. Limited copies of their book will be available for $10 at the library starting Monday.

Guest speaker to address black history
Bethany Word of Life Tabernacle, 6808 Paluxy Drive, in Tyler, will have a four-part series in February in celebration of Black History Month.
Gussie Daniels III, founder of the African-American Museum of Texas Education, is the scheduled guest speaker after the 10 a.m. worship service on Feb. 7 and 14. A fellowship dinner will follow the program on Feb. 7. The Feb. 21 and 28 programs are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. All events are free and open to the public.

Christian Women’s Job Corps enrolling new class
Christian Women’s Job Corps of Tyler is enrolling for the Spring 2016 class that will start on Feb. 15.
All interested participants are encouraged to call the organization as soon as possible to schedule an interview appointment.
The Christian Women’s Job Corps of Tyler is a free educational program for Tyler women who have a financial need to work. Classes are structured to mirror the workplace environment and to help instill good work habits in the participants.
The job corps is not an employment agency, but the program offers job training and skills to gain and maintain employment to participating women. The program also provides resources, such as networking with local employment agencies and job coaching by business professionals.
