Winnsboro clinches playoff spot with win

WINNSBORO – The Winnsboro Red Raiders earned their way into the playoffs after taking a 28-6 win over the Prairiland Patriots on Friday in District 7-3A Division I play.
Winnsboro (7-3 and 3-2) jumped out to an early 13-0 lead in the game and then coasted to the win.
Red Raiders quarterback Lucas Pinnell only completed two of his five passing attempts in the game, but both went to Jeremy Moses for TDs.
Pinnell and Moses each had a rushing touchdown in the game.
Kolby Brown led all rushers in the game with 130 yards on 17 carries.
With the loss Prairiland falls to 6-4 and 2-3, but is mathematically still alive for a playoff spot.
