Brahman cattle flood ET State Fair

The South Show Pavilion at the East Texas State Fair rang with the lowing of cattle on Tuesday as it played host to the annual American Brahman Breeders Association Red and Gray Brahman Show judging in Tyler.
Exhibitors brought about 120 head of brahman from around the region for the show. The Brahman cattle breed originated in India are characterized by their hump and large, floppy ears. Heifers, bulls and calves were in attendance for the show.

Ribbons were presented in a variety of classes determined by age and grand and reserve grand awards were presented to the best of the class winners as well as overall best of show. The red brahman and gray Brahman were judged separately.
