Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge offers special tours

Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge, a local non profit organization that houses over 35 rescued cats, is now offering two new special tours that includes up-close interaction with some of their newest furry residents!
“The servals were placed with Tiger Creek on permanent loan for exhibit as ambassador animals in our educational program from a facility in North Carolina” says Lisa Werner, Director of Programs and Services for Tiger Creek in a statement. “We’re glad they were placed with us and excited about their participation in our animal ambassador program!”

The VIP tour with the servals is for guests ages 12 and up. The VIP tour includes a general tour of the park with a thirty minute session of play time with 3 month old servals from a facility in North Carolina. The servals are originally from Africa, and are extremely wild and are expected to grow to be larger than an average house cat. The VIP tour will be available by reservation only once a day at 1:00 on Monday through Saturday.
There is another exclusive tour being offered for guests ages 18 and up. The tour is called the Tricks and Treats tour which includes a closer look at the larger cats during their training session.
