Tylerite wins $1M with scratch-off ticket

(UPDATED July 2, 2015 at 9:54 am CT) TYLER (KYTX) – A Tyler resident has won the One Million Cash top prize from the Texas Lottery
Shameem Bano bought the $20 ticket at the A-Food Mart located at 6500 South Broadway Avenue. There were only four top prize tickets, and Bano purchased the last one of the series.
For selling the winning ticket, A-Food Mart is eligible for a $10,000 retailer bonus.
One Million Cash offers more than $88 million in prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in One Million Cash are one in 2.80, including break-even prizes.
Beginning with the first ticket sold in 1992, the Texas Lottery has generated $23 billion in revenue for the state and distributed $46 billion in prizes to lottery players.
