Simon Kidgits Club welcomes young foodies and their families to the Lil’ Chefs event at Broadway Square Mall on Saturday, June 13 from 1-3 p.m.

 The annual event, sponsored by Chick-fil-A, FRESH by Brookshires, Sonic Drive-in and Great American Cookies, Lil’ Chefs is a free culinary event that shows kids the fun side of food through multiple hands-on activities. Participants can visit various food stations provided by Broadway Square Mall eateries & restaurants, sample yummy treats, and even assist in preparing tasty treats. Kids can mix and make their own cheery limeade and decorate a cookie.

 Participating vendors include Chick-Fil-A, Build-A-Bear, FRESH by Brookshires, Sonic Drive-in, Great American Cookies, and many more!  Also as part of Lil Chefs events, kids are encouraged to help those in need by bringing a non-perishable food item to Broadway Square Mall to be donated to the East Texas Food Bank,

 This event is free to Simon Kidgits Club members. Kids can join the club and join the fun for a $5 annual membership fee.
