> With Morgan Brooks leading the bats, East Texas Christian Academy outslugged Dallas Lakehill Prep 16-11 on Thursday.

Brooks went 4 for 4 with seven RBIs. She finished a single shy of hitting for the cycle, hitting a triple, two doubles and a two-run home run.

Brooks also struck out seven and walked seven in a complete-game effort in the circle to earn the win.

The Lady Panthers racked up 12 hits and 12 walks.

ETCA (5-1) will host Sherman Texoma Christian in a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Lady Panthers’ home field in Flint. The teams are tied for the district lead, meaning the winner will claim the TAPPS 3-1A/2A title.
