ASSOCIATE

Dr. Chuck Lay has joined Starnes Animal Clinic as an associate to the practice. Dr. Lay is a 1981 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lay’s experience is in orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, flexible and rigid Endoscopy, scope assisted minimal invasive procedures, diagnostics and medical treatment.

 

NEW STORES

Broadway Square Mall will soon have several new stores opening: Justice, offering preteen fashions; Charlotte Russe; Shoe Palace, A’GACI and O’Shoes. Le Nails is under new management and will remain open while remodeling their space. Victoria’s Secret and Mandarin Express are both reopening in their original spaces after undergoing expansion and renovations.



 

FRESH 15

The winners of the FRESH 15 Corporate Challenge are Hutto Orthodontics with 80 employee-participants was the first place winner. Hutto received $300, which they donated to the dental program at Bethesda Health Clinic in Tyler. Tyler Independent School District came in second, with 75 participants, and designated its $200 donation to the Tyler ISD Foundation. In third place, with 59 participants, the Centene Corporation selected the Susan G. Komen Foundation to receive its $100 prize. For more information, visit FRESH15k.com.

 

APPLICATIONS

Chipotle Mexican Grill will host an interview day in each of its Texas restaurants on Monday, April 13 between the hours of 8-10 a.m. and 2-4 p.m. Applicants can complete an application in-restaurant, submit an application using Chipotle’s new mobile job application app from a mobile device or tablet, or enter an application online at http://jobs.chipotle.com. Candidates then can come into their local Texas restaurant to request an interview with a manager.

 

FAIR

There will be a free Financial Fair at the Cameron-J. SHREDDING

On Saturday, April 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.at BBB offices in Tyler 3600 Old Bullard Road in Tyler and on Friday April 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Brookshire’s of Van, 706 W Main St in Van,individuals can shred up to three hundred pounds of paper per vehicle at no charge. Ark-La-Tex Shredding Company, STS Electronic Recycling and Allied Waste Systems are donating their services for the event. BLOOD DRIVE

RALLY

Tyler will host the 2015 Texas State, Harley Owners Group (HOG) Rally May 14-17. Among the events will be a parade through the streets of Tyler Saturday morning with the Tyler Police Motorcade leading the way. For more information about the HOG Rally please go to, www.txstatehogrally.com.
