A new choice for one-stop in beauty and cosmetic shopping is coming to Tyler.

Beauty Brands is set to open its doors April 10 for a two-day grand opening celebration, offering an upscale selection of skincare, cosmetics, hair care and bath and body products in one location, 8942 S. Broadway Ave.

The grand opening weekend, set for April 10-12, is expected to feature customer makeovers, special gifts and helpful advice from the experts.

“This is one of the first new concept stores,” said Megan Brown Bennett, Light Years Ahead marketing. “It’s very upscale. It’s a new layout of the store.”

The retailer is designed with modern American beauty in mind, allowing women to choose between iconic and independent brands in an environment that’s sleek and inviting, Ms. Bennett said.

What’s different about Beauty Brands is the range of luxury merchandise and services, giving shoppers the opportunity to enjoy big store choices with the personal experience of a boutique.

Beauty experts will be on hand at the location to assist shoppers with consultations, demonstrations, beauty advice and head-to-toe pampering.

Services for those who desire a personal shopping experience range from quick fix facials to hair styling delivered by professional staff with a commitment to quality customer service.

Brands featured in the store include Peter Thomas Roth, Rodial, NuFace, Indie Lee, Ren, First Aid Beauty, True Isaac Mizrahi, Dermalogica, L’Occitane and philosophy, AG Hair, color Proof, FHI HEAT, Goldwell, KMS, Tigi, Matrix, Stila, Laura Geller Beauty, Per-fekt and Red Carpet Manicure.

Beauty Brands has more than 50 locations in 11 states.

The new store in Tyler is located south of Cumberland Road, across from Faulkner Park and Sports Complex.

Other Texas locations include Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco, Houston, Plano, Richardson, Southland, Waco and Watauga.
