1. Longview seeks answers after spate of killings

LONGVIEW (KYTX)- One person is dead after a shooting in Longview Tuesday night.

Police received a 911 call at 7:41 Tuesday night to the 800 block of Aurel Boulevard, according to Longview Police Department spokeswoman Kristi Brian.

The victim was lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. EMS transported the person to a local hospital, where the victim was pronounced dead.

Crime scene investigators have yet to identify the victim. There is no suspect information at this time.
