CORSICANA — After seeing Monday’s game postponed, the Robert E. Lee Red Raiders basketball team will try again Tuesday.

REL is scheduled to face Killeen Ellison in a Class 6A bi-district game at Wolens Gymnasium on the Navarro College campus, Greg Priest, Tyler ISD athletic director, said. Tipoff is 7 p.m.

The game was originally scheduled for Monday in Fairfield, but icy road conditions forced the change.

The Red Raiders enter the contest with an 18-9 record and are seeking their first postseason victory since 2007.

Lee is led by the scoring duo of Garrett Thibodeaux and Jordan Berry.

The Eagles are ranked No. 13 in the state with a 23-7 record and are led by centers Ronald Williams Jr. and Isiah Jasey.

The winner of the Lee-Ellison contest will play either Dallas Skyline or Mesquite later this week in a Region II area matchup.
