SULPHUR SPRINGS — Lilly Nelson dropped 19 points to lead the Canton Eaglettes past Paris North Lamar 49-39 Friday in their Class 4A girls basketball area playoff game.

Canton advances to face Bullard in the third round at a time and place still to be determined.

Madison McFaffity added 10 points for the Eaglettes.
