BACKGROUND: Owens opened Traditions in Tyler 15 years ago.

When he got into the business, most people would pick up a meal to take home to the families and he has seen that grow, as well as people dining in for a no cooking or clean up holiday, Owens said earlier. Going out for Thanksgiving allows everyone to eat something different, not just what grandma has on the table, he added.
