The sea breeze should push thunderstorms into the Lufkin vicinity from mid- to late afternoon and possibly to the Interstate 20 corridor before sunset. The activity should decrease and finally end with the loss of daytime heating. Little change is forecast through the weekend, so we can look for high temperatures in the mid- and high 90s each day. The chance of showers and thunderstorms should stay at 20 percent or less. Winds should be from the south 10 to 15 mph.
