Longview: A guide to the Ink Life Tour

The Ink Life Tour, set today through Sunday in Longview, is a showcase of music and tattoo arts presented by House Of Pain Tattoo Studio in El Paso. Top tattoo artists demonstrate their skills and compete for prizes.
East Texas bands and national acts will take the stage.

$25 per day or a $40 pass for all weekend.
Who are the music headliners?
Molly Hatchet
Originally from Jacksonville, Fla., Molly Hatchet’s debut album was released in 1978. They reached the peak of popularity in the early ’80s with the emergence of Southern Rock.
Lita Ford
Ford first gained attention in the late 1970s as a member of the band The Runaways. Her 2012 album, “Living Like a Runaway,” pays homage to the band. A native of Britain who grew up in Los Angeles, Ford has been hailed as one of the most influential women in rock.
Drowning Pool
Drowning Pool has been around since 2001 and has produced several rock hits including “Feel Like I Do” and “Step Up.”
