At 9:38 p.m., officers were called to 5700 block of Mustang Trail, where a man said two black men robbed him at gunpoint, according to a news release. The victim said the men, wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, struck him in the back of the head with a handgun and stole his phone.
He received minor injuries from the strike.

Then at 10:57 p.m., officers were called to 2100 block of West Jackson Street for a residential burglary. A woman said three black men knocked on her door, and when she answered, they entered her home, pointed a handgun at her and demanded money, according to a news release.
She said one of the men as heavy set, wearing a dark hooded sweater and another was tall and thin wearing a black T-shirt.
The men stole two cellphones and left on foot. The woman was not injured.
