Aston Francis scored a game-high 21 points, hitting two 3-pointers, to lead the Trojans (2-1).

Andrew Melhart led a balanced scoring attack with 13 points as Grace Community won its season opener 71-50 over West Rusk at Grace Gym.

Blake Johnson (12 points) and Verlo Levels (10) both reached double figures for the Cougars (1-0), with Trevor Gunter and Phillip McKinney also added eight points apiece. Grace had 10 players tally at least one point.
