Wildcats shut tout Timpson, 27-0

MOUNT ENTERPRISE — The Mount Enterprise Wildcats stayed unbeaten on the season with a 27-0 win over the Timpson Bears on Friday.

The Wildcats got on the board early when Blake Chapman dashed 62 yards for a TD. Johnny Taylor ran in for the two-point conversion for an 8-0 lead.

Chapman led the Wildcats with 175 yards on seven carries.

After a 10-play drive, Hunter Ammons scored on a 6-yard run for a 14-0 lead. He rushed 17 times for 97 yards.

Just before halftime, Anthony Frazier hit paydirt with a 12-yard dash. The TD made it 20-0.



The final score of the game came with 9:38 to go when Chance Young pounced on a fumble in the end zone. Colton Byler booted the PAT for a 27-0 final.

The Wildcats are off next Friday, while Timpson travels to Hemphill.
