Showers and thunderstorms will continue today. There is a slight risk of severe storms mainly north of I-20 during the afternoon and evening. The high temperature for today will be near 75 degrees with south winds 15 to 20 mph. Rain will decrease Friday, and rainfall amounts are expected to be less than one inch with the heaviest amounts across the southern half of our area. High temperatures will reach the mid 80s Friday afternoon. The weekend looks sunny and dry with highs near 75 degrees and lows near 50 degrees Saturday and Sunday.
Freezing temperatures are expected again Tuesday and Wednesday morning.
