East Texans can expect more wintry conditions tonight as another winter storm blows in.
KYTX-CBS 19 Chief Meteorologist John Adams said East Texas can expect the rain to continue until midnight when the temperatures will drop low enough to turn it into freezing rain.
North of I-20, a tenth of an inch to a quarter of an inch of ice, sleet and freezing rain can be expected, with one to three inches of snow early Thursday morning.
South of I-20, there will be some freezing rain and sleet, with less than a tenth of an inch of ice and less than a half inch of snow predicted for Thursday morning.
Drivers should take caution on bridges and overpasses Wednesday night and Thursday morning as temperatures will drop low enough to cause some freezing.
Thursday morning, East Texas can expect to see the sun again with highs reaching up to 40 degrees.
