Nate Brooks, Whitehouse: The Wildcats quarterback completed 22 of 32 passes for 226 yards and a touchdown, adding 127 yards and two TDs on the ground in a 56-14 win over Jacksonville.
Matt Brunson, All Saints: The Trojans quarterback scored four different ways on Friday. Brunson ran for 145 yards and a touchdown, passed for 71 yards and a score and caught a 17-yard touchdown. To top it off, he was named homecoming king.
Justice Centers, Gladewater: The Bears running back went for 126 yards on 16 carries, finding the end zone three times in a 41-21 win over Pleasant Grove.
Jeremiah Crawford, Mineola: The sophomore QB ran for 109 yards and a score and added 178 yards and a TD on 7 of 12 yards passing in a 30-27 win over Jefferson.
Jordan Devers, Robert E. Lee: The junior receiver made four catches for 116 yards, highlighted by a 51-yard touchdown in a 42-7 win over North Garland.
Michael Goodwin, Bishop Gorman: The junior quarterback completed 20 of 27 passes for 228 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for 63 yards and a score.
Zack Gray, Elkhart: The Elks running back amassed 241 yards and two TDs on 18 carries in a 41-3 rout of Kemp. His TDs came on runs of 51 and 58 and he added a two-point conversion.
Devin Hall, Athens: The senior running back chewed up 215 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries as Athens cruised by Kaufman, 44-23.
Zach Hall, Robert E. Lee: The junior quarterback did it with his arm and legs. He threw for 202 yards and three touchdowns (7, 34, 51) and ran for 130 yards and three more TDs (1, 8, 60).
