Unbeaten Harmony bowls over Como-Pickton 42-0


COMO - Barrett Hill scored three times on the ground and rushed for 256 yards, and the Harmony defense worked its third shutout in four games on Friday as the Eagles rolled to a 42-0 win over Como-Pickton in a District 8-3A Division II contest.

D.J. Click opened the scoring for Harmony (7-0, 2-0) with a 1-yard run at the 7:29 mark of the opening quarter, and Hill scored on a 53-yard jaunt with 28 seconds remaining in the frame for a 14-0 lead heading into the second.

Hill’s 97-yard run with 8:45 to play in the second boosted the lead to 21-0, and Konrad Eichelman (77 yards) and Hill (65) scored on long runs before the half as Harmony enjoyed a 35-0 cushion at the break.

Spencer Seahorn capped the scoring with a 24-yard TD run with 4:52 to play in the third quarter.

Hill had a game-high 256 yards rushing on 18 carries in the win.

Harmony will host Alba-Golden, and Como-Pickton (4-3, 0-2) will visit Edgewood on Friday.
