Gorman Sweeps First Baptist

Michelle Obach scored 21 points to lead the T.K. Gorman Lady Crusaders to their 33rd consecutive district win, an 87-24 rout of Dallas First Baptist on Tuesday night.

Susannah Williams scored 13, while Cori Jo Navarro and Danielle Smith added 12 and 11, respectively for TKG (26-5, 11-0 in TAPPS 2-4A). The Lady Crusaders have won their last two games by a combined 123 points.

T.K. Gorman returns to the court Friday on the road at Waco Reicher.

In the boys game, Ben Ashworth, Sean Goforth, Caleb Williams and Brandon Lackner all scored in double figures to  spark TKG to the 73-52 win.

Lady Trojans Claim Win

DALLAS — Kelsee Harwood hit for 23 points in leading the All Saints Lady Trojans to a 44-28 win over Dallas Parish Episcopal on Tuesday.

In the boys game, Brad Robertson hit for 12 points, but the Trojans fell to Parish Episcopal 51-35.

Langemeier Shoots Guard Past McKinney Christian

BULLARD — Bullard Brook Hill’s Austin Langemeier scored a team-high 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Guard to a 59-36 win over McKinney Christian Tuesday. 

The Mustangs’ Kalen Malone led all scorers with 29 of his team’s 36.

Langemeier came out smoking with 10 points in the first quarter as Brook Hill took command, 22-5 after one period.

Lady Guard Fall Short To Lady Mustangs

 

A few weeks back, the Lady Guard suffered a 50-23 setback to the McKinney Lady Mustangs.

Although Bullard Brook Hill did not have quite enough to pull off the win, a new defensive set kept the game within reach for Brook Hill until McKinney Christian pulled out the 39-29 win.

Braitlyn McAdams scored 12 of her game-high 19 points in the final two periods to nail down the win for the Lady Mustangs. 

Trailing 15-7 at the half, Brook Hill’s Alyssa Eden heated up to score 11 of her 13 points in the third stanza of the setback.

Lady Guard Samantha Ander-son added 13 points with nine coming the second half.
