QUITMAN — Tanner Sharp accounted for five touchdowns as Sabine took a 41-14 victory over Quitman on Friday.

After Sam Smith got the Cardinals on the board with a one-yard run in the first quarter, Sharp had a hand in all three Sabine touchdowns in the second quarter.

He had a 15-yard touchdown pass to Ty Cundieff and added rushing scores of 10 and five yards to give Sabine a 27-6 halftime lead. Sharp also kicked two extra points in the quarter.

Sharp opened the third quarter with a 22-yard touchdown run, and he followed that with a 27-yard scoring strike to O’Shean Jagot.

Smith had two fumble recoveries for Sabine (5-3, 2-1) in the third quarter. Stacy Polk and Tristian Leroy each had an interception.
