SFA's Cinderella season ends

SAN DIEGO — Stephen F. Austin’s incredible season came to an end on Sunday.

The Lumberjacks lost to UCLA, 77-60, in the Round of 32 in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.

SFA (32-3) saw its 29-game winning streak conclude. It was the Lumberjacks’ first loss in 120 days.

On Friday, the Lumberjacks scored a thrilling 77-75 overtime victory over VCU. It was SFA’s first NCAA tournament win.

UCLA advances to the Sweet 16 in Memphis, Tenn. The Bruins will face Florida.
