SABINE 21, HARMONY 9: LIBERTY CITY – The Sabine Cardinals, already assured of a playoff spot for the second year in a row, made sure they would head to the postseason on a roll by handing the Harmony Eagles a 21-9 setback on Friday at James Bamberg Stadium.

Sabine (4-6, 3-2) will take on Daingerfield Thursday in Marshall to open the playoffs. Harmony (6-4, 2-3) is also headed to the playoffs.

Sabine opened the scoring with a three-play, 52-yard drive capped by a 45-yard run from Tevin Roberts early in the first period.

Harmony marched 51 yards in 12 plays and got on the board with a 27-yard field goal by Trevor Taylor, but the Cardinals countered with a 17-yard run by Glenn George to lead 14-3 at halftime.

After a scoreless third quarter, Dain Duncan - who had a two-point conversion following George's TD - scored for the Cardinals with 5:47 to play and Nolan Owens added the PAT.

Harmony ended the scoring with a 12-yard run by Mike Edmonson with 1:52 to play.
