BRYAN — Tim Wright scored a touchdown with 10 seconds remaining to give No. 14 Navarro a 34-27 win against No. 16 Hinds (Miss.) in the Brazos Valley Bowl on a cold and windy Saturday at Merrill Green Stadium.

Wright’s dramatic TD came from 10 yards away and was his fourth of the game. He carried the ball 35 times for 246 yards and earned Offensive MVP honors.

Hinds (7-3) linebacker Chris Harthone was named Defensive MVP after supplying 11 tackles (10 solo).

Hinds quarterback James Summers finished with 26 carries for 113 yards.
