With two games remaining, Robert E. Lee soccer cannot afford a single misstep.

The boys and girls soccer teams will be on the road Tuesday at Rockwall with postseason hopes riding on their results. The Lee girls will kick off at 7:15 p.m. at Rockwall High School Field with the boys game at the same time at Wilkerson-Sanders Stadium.

The Lady Raiders are currently in fourth place in District 11-6A with 19 points.

A win and all three points for REL against Rockwall coupled with a loss by fifth-place Lakeview Centennial would lock up a playoff spot with still one game remaining.

A loss or tie and it goes to the final game on Friday at home to Naaman Forest.

The Red Raiders are currently in third place with 20 points. Rockwall is in sixth place, but just three points behind. A win and all three points for the Lee boys could move the Red Raiders into second place, depending on how other results fall. Anything else makes the final game of the season against first-place Naaman Forest that much more important.
