Emem David took a big step in her junior season and district coaches noticed, voting the forward/post player on the first team of the All-District 12-5A girls basketball team. David played every game for the Lady Raiders, doing a little bit of everything averaging six points, six rebounds, one steal and one assist per game.

Junior Shreece Pryor, a tenacious defender for Lee, received second team honors, with junior DaJah Thompson chosen honorable mention.

District champion Mesquite Horn received two superlatives with junior Lauren Bradshaw voted Defensive Player of the Year and freshman Jada Underwood chosen Newcomer of the Year. Brianna Williams helped Mesquite finish second in the district standings and was voted Most Valuable Player. Rockwall’s Sara Williamson was chosen Offensive Player of the Year.
