PRICE — Three Carlisle pitchers combined for a five-inning no-hitter as the Indians completed their fourth-straight shutout in a 13-0 win over Union Hill on Friday.

Gunner Baker struck out six and walked one in two innings to move to 7-0 on the mound. Ben Goss had five strikeouts in two innings and Shadow Sanders rung up three in his lone inning, giving Carlisle 14 strikeouts and three walks against 18 batters.

Zach Brightwell and Jaylan Holland each hit homers for the Indians (15-0, 8-0 District 20-1A). Brightwell added a double, three RBIs and four runs while Goss had a game-high four RBIs off two doubles.

Cayuga’s Jenkins throws no-hitter

BETHEL — Hunter Jenkins struck out eight and surrendered no hits as Cayuga defeated Fruitvale 14-1 in five innings, bouncing back having their 11-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday against No. 7 Kerens.

Hunter Johnson and Chandler Rigdon led the Wildcats (14-3, 7-1 District 19-1A) at the plate with three hits each. Cota Wilburn and Payton Wallace had two hits apiece.

Fruitvale scored off a pair of walks, an errant pick-off throw and a passed ball.

Green went 3 for 4 overall with two singles and a double as Mineola (17-5, 6-0) remained unbeaten in district play.

Panthers win behind Eschberger, 6-5

BULLARD — Zach Eschberger struck out nine in six innings to lead Bullard to a 6-5 win over Spring Hill on Thursday.

The Panthers (15-5, 5-1 District 16-3A) were led at the plate by JP Hendrix (2-3, run), Haden Bryant (two runs), Trevor Rumbelow (double, RBI) and Connor Mebane (two RBIs).

Eschberger allowed three runs while walking none. Rumbelow came on in the seventh for the save.
