LINDALE — In a game of few hits, Lindale's Marcus Wells and Dalton Sanchez combined allow none in five innings as the Eagles blanked John Tyler 10-0 on Friday.

Wells struck out seven while Sanchez struck out one in the final inning in holding the Lions hitless.

The Eagles (13-6-2, 5-2 District 16-4A) scored 10 runs on three hits and three JT errors. The lone extra-base hit of the game was a triple from Kyle Bond.

BULLARD — Jonah Gonzales had three of Brook Hill's 19 hits as the Guard crushed Richardson Canyon Creek 18-2 on Friday.

Gonales added a triple and three RBIs while Seth Brasher drove in a game-high four on two doubles.

Also tallying multi-hit games for Brook Hill were Chase Moore, Blake Maddox, Daniel Priddy and Travis King.

Andrew Edwards struck out eight, walked one and allowed two unearned runs in a complete-game effort for the Guard.

Brady, Beard power LadyCats past Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE — Brooke Brady blasted a two-run homer and Maggie Beard held Jacksonville to two hits as Whitehouse rolled to an 11-0 win on Friday.

Micah Gray hit two doubles while Autumn Crymes and Morgan Downs each had one two-bagger for the LadyCats (22-6, 7-1 District 16-4A).

Bullard's Springer no-hits Chapel Hill

BULLARD — Lady Panthers pitcher Coco Springer struck out 10 batters as she no-hit Chapel Hill in an 11-0 win for Bullard on Friday.

Springer walked one and reached 900 strikeouts for her career.

The Lady Panthers scored four in the first and seven in the second. Baylee Taylor led the way with three RBIs and a triple.

 

Lady Guard cruise to 12-2 win

BULLARD — Lexi Crenshaw tallied three RBIs on two hits as Bullard Brook Hill run-ruled Richardson Canyon Creek 12-2 in five innings on Friday.

Crenshaw, who recorded the final six outs for a save, also tripled for the Lady Guard.

Taylor Schultz picked up the win in the circle, striking out three, walking two and allowing one run on two hits in three innings.

 

Alto's Crisp no-hits Wells

ALTO — Madison Crisp rung up 10 batters in a 16-1, four-inning no-hitter of Wells on Friday.

Hanna Watson paced the Lady Jackets with four RBIs on two hits.

Alto honored seniors Carenza Johnson and Dariyana Moore on Senior Night.
