John Tyler 3, Jacksonville 0

The John Tyler Lady Lions defeated the Jacksonville Maidens 3-0 on Tuesday in a District 16-5A volleyball match at the Lions Den on the JT campus.

JT won 25-15, 25-18, 25-19 to improve to 27-11 on the season and 6-2 in league play. The Maidens fall to 1-7 in district.

Leaders for JT were Symone Morris (15 kills, 6 serves, 14 receptions, 1 dig), Michiah McFarland (9 serves, 2 kills, 2 receptions, 34 assists, 7 digs) and Eriana Valle (19 serves, 5 digs, 36 receptions).

JT won the JV (25-11, 17-25, 25-8) and Freshmen A (19-25, 25-16, 25-18) over Jacksonville with Lindale winning the Freshmen B match over the Lady Lions (25-18, 25-1).

The Lady Lions are scheduled to play at Nacogdoches at 4:30 p.m. Friday with Jacksonville hosting Whitehouse at 4:30 p.m. Friday at John Alexander Gymnasium.

Rockwall 3, Tyler Lee 0

ROCKWALL — The Tyler Lee Lady Raiders dropped a District 11-6A volleyball match to Rockwall (25-14, 25-23, 25-16) on Tuesday.

Hope Casel had nine kills for Lee. Semira Udosen had seven kills, and Claire Trosclair had five kills. Also, Anna Stone had 17 digs, and Anasha Martin added 12 digs.

Lee (20-17, 4-3) will host North Mesquite on Friday.

Lindale 3, Texas High 0

LINDALE — The Lindale Lady Eagles defeated Texarkana Texas High 3-0 on Tuesday in a District 15-5A volleyball match.

Leaders for the Lady Eagles were Shelbi Steen (9 kills, 4 assists), London Reue (8 kills), Liz Hutchens (5 kills), Harleigh Thurman (13 assists) and Kalaya Pierce (8 assists).

The Lindale JV won 25-12, 25-23 and the freshmen Lady Eagles won 25-5, 23-25, 25-18.

Lindale will host Greenville at 5 p.m. Friday.

Hallsville 3, Whitehouse 2

WHITEHOUSE — The Hallsville LadyCats upset the No. 18 Whitehouse LadyCats 3-2 on Tuesday in District 16-5A volleyball.

Hallsville won 25-20, 20-25, 25-23, 22-25, 15-12.

Whitehouse (27-9, 7-1) was led by Ryann Foster with (4 aces, 27 assists, 23 digs), Briana Brown (14 kills, 24 digs), Ashlee Taylor (10 kills) and Kate Idrogo (9 kills).

Whitehouse won the JV (21-25, 25-21, 25-18) and freshmen (25-20, 20-25, 25-19) matches.

Whitehouse visits Jacksonville on Friday with the varsity beginning at 4:30 p.m., followed by the JV and freshmen matches.

Bullard 3, Henderson 0

HENDERSON — The Bullard Lady Panthers, ranked No. 11 in the state, scored a 3-0 win over the Henderson Lady Lions on Tuesday in a District 16-4A volleyball match.

Bullard (31-6, 6-1) won 25-23, 25-21, 25-15.

Leaders for the Lady Panthers were Sara McKeethan (17 kills, 23 digs, 2 blocks), Keili Richmond (13 kills, 13 digs, 2 blocks), Sarah Lewinski (10 kills, 2 blocks), Libby Eitel (21 assist, 4 digs), Kylie McKeethan (14 assists, 4 digs) and Claire Cannon (10 digs).

Bullard also won the JV (25-19, 25-13) and freshmen (25-23, 25-11) matches.

Bullard is scheduled to play at Gilmer at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Arlington Pantego 3, All Saints 2

Arlington Pantego scored a 3-2 win over All Saints on Tuesday in a district match at Brookshire Gym.

Pantego won 23-25, 25-19, 25-19, 23-25, 15-10.

Leaders for the Lady Trojans were Olivia Young and Madeline Perkins.

The All Saints JV won 25-5, 25-10.

All Saints will host Arlington Grace Prep on Thursday.

Quitman 3, Lone Oak 0

QUITMAN — The Quitman Lady Bulldogs scored a 3-0 win over Lone Oak on Tuesday in a District 12-3A volleyball match.

Quitman (15-21, 5-2) won 25-15, 25-15, 25-13.

Leaders for Lady Bulldogs were Ava Burrough (16 kills, 6 digs, 1 block, 4 aces), Shelby Hayes (27 assists, 4 digs, 2 kills, 3 aces), Julia Simpkins (3 digs, 5 kills, 2 aces), Lucy Brannon (10 digs, 4 kills, 4 aces), Maddy Whitehurst (10 digs, 6 kills, 1 ace, 2 assists, 1 block) and Jentri Jackson (10 kills, 6 kills).

Quitman is scheduled to play at Grand Saline at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

The Quitman JV won, 25-11, 25-21.

Sabine 3, White Oak 0

LIBERTY CITY — The No. 8 Sabine Lady Cardinals defeated the White Oak LadyNecks on Tuesday in a District 16-3A volleyball match.

Sabine (32-5, 8-0) won 25-8, 25-14, 25-19.

Leaders for the Lady Cards were Mikinzi Cantrell (10 kills, 2 blocks, 4 digs), Aubree McCann (10 kills, 8 points, 3 blocks), Sierrah Richter (14 points, 9 digs, 30 assists), Maddie Furrh (10 points, 5 digs), Sam Bell (10 digs) and Caitlin Bates (5 digs).

Hawkins 3, Union Grove 0

UNION GROVE — The Hawkins Lady Hawks stayed unbeaten in District 19-2A with a 3-0 win over Union Grove on Tuesday night.

Hawkins (7-0) won 25-20, 25-19, 26-24.

Leaders for Hawkins were Logan Jaco (18 kills), Makena Warren (8 kills, 5 blocks), Lynli Dacus (19 assists, 10 digs), Alyssa Eddington (15 assists) and Tenley Conde (9 digs).

Hawkins returns to play on Tuesday, hosting Union Hill. Union Grove plays host to Leverett’s Chapel at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

On Friday, Hawkins swept Leverett’s Chapel 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-22). Leaders were Jaco (8 kills, 5 digs), Makena Warren (5 kills, 4 digs), Eddington (14 assists, 4 digs), Dacus (7 assists), Jordyn Warren (6 digs), Josie Howard (5 digs) and Maraina Clark (4 digs).

Big Sandy 3, Leverett’s Chapel 2

LAIRD HILL — The No. 20 Big Sandy LadyCats defeated the Leverett’s Chapel Lady Lions in a thriller 3-2 on Tuesday in a District 19-2A volleyball match.

Big Sandy (20-8, 6-1) won 25-17, 25-13, 24-26, 25-27, 15-9.

Leaders for the LadyCats were Airikah Pippins (7 blocks, 1 dig, 25 kills, 15/16 serves, 4 aces), Chyler Ponder (1 block, 7 digs, 7 kills, 27/27 serves, 2 aces), Lizzie Worden (8 digs, 40 assists, 19/19 serves, 2 aces), Jakayla Johnson (14 digs, 11/13 serves, 1 ace), Peyton Adams (11 digs, 21/22 serves, 4 aces), Gracie Jenison (1 block, 4 digs, 9 kills, 7/8 serves), Brylie Arnold: (1 kill, 3 block), Breaunna Derrick (1 kill, 1 block) and Tori Hill (2 kills, 1 block).
