LONE OAK — Freshman quarterback Austen Truett threw for two touchdowns and scored the game-winning touchdown to lead the Grand Saline Indians to a 14-6 win over Lone Oak on Friday night.

Truett hit on 15 of 25 pass attempts for 188 yards and two touchdowns — one each to Shayne Neal and Austin Bolin. Truett also had 15 carries for 98 yards and had six tackles from his strong safety position.

T.J. Ollison rushed for 85 yards on 18 carries, while Gio Flores had five catches for 91 yards. Also, Neal had six catches for 51 yards.

Bolin, who had two receptions for 75 yards, also had an interception.

On defense, Evans had 14 tackles, four tackles for losses, caused two fumbles, recovered a fumble and pass breakup. Flores, who plays rover, had nine tackles (4 for losses), caused a fumble, recoved a fumble, had a pass breakup and an interception. Outside linebacker Brian Davis had eight tackles (one for loss).
